Colorful and diverse automobilia items on the block during the 2021 Las Vegas Auction.

It somehow seems fitting that in a city known for the neon lights illuminating the famous Strip – and one that even has its own Neon Museum – neon signs dominated the Top 10 best-selling automobilia items at the 2021 Las Vegas Auction, with an animated Greyhound Bus sign from the 1940s leading the way. But look again – a rare Mobil Oil “Metro” restored art-deco-influenced gas pump and a beautifully restored Tootsie Pops coin-operated candy machine from the 1940s also made the list. Enthusiasts seeking out authentic items to embellish their car collections, garages or homes are increasingly drawn to the Barrett-Jackson Automobilia Auctions, happening each morning of the event right before the collector cars start to roll across the auction block. When you see the colorful and nostalgic pieces in the gallery below, you’ll see why!
