Last night, at the 94th Academy Awards, Elliot Page and his Juno co-stars, Jennifer Garner and J.K. Simmons, reunited to present Belfast screenwriter Kenneth Branagh his award for Best Original Screenplay. In Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody’s coming-of-age comedy-drama, Page portrays Juno, a free-spirited teenager who confronts the complications of an unexpected pregnancy.

Jennifer Garner, who plays Vanessa Loring — the prospective adoptive mother of Juno’s child — commented that the Juno screenplay “felt new and exciting” ahead of its 2008 Oscars win. Page added that “Juno had me hooked from the very first page and was completely infused with Diablo Cody’s distinctive voice. It was unlike anything I’d ever read before.”
