Lot #3003.1 – Bret Michaels’ 2007 Bentley Continental GT will be selling with No Reserve at our 2022 Scottsdale Auction.

In the automotive world there are few cars more suited for a roadgoing adventure than a Bentley. The “Flying B” is indicative of an exhilarating driving experience with the comfort to make even the longest distances effortless. A Bentley is the ultimate in “Grand Touring” and a car that offers a driving experience like no other.

Offered with No Reserve at the 2022 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction is a special Continental GT, coming from the personal collection of legendary music icon, entrepreneur and renowned philanthropist Bret Michaels. “Bret has long been a part of the Barrett-Jackson family,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “He first sold a car at Barrett-Jackson during our 40th anniversary in Scottsdale, creating a level of energy in the arena that only a legend like Bret could, and then returned to our 45th anniversary with an incredible concert and once again with vehicles that included a charitable element. As we look forward to celebrating 50 years this January, we’re honored that he has chosen to be a part of it through selling his 2007 Bentley Continental GT, a vehicle we both share a love for.”

Finished in Moonbeam Silver, this Continental GT has a true rock star history, having been featured in numerous hit reality shows, music videos and magazines and piloted by Michaels on many road trips throughout the American Southwest. “I can’t wait to bring this car to Barrett-Jackson in January,” said Bret Michaels. “I’ve had the pleasure of partaking in a handful of Barrett-Jackson events over the last decade and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to also be a part of their 50th anniversary celebration.”

Always well-maintained and truly loved by Michaels, this Continental GT is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 engine producing 552 horsepower and sending power to the pavement via a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. The result is a top speed knocking on the door of 200 mph and 0-60 time in under four seconds. A stunning interior showcases all of Bentley’s craftsmanship, and the Continental rides on custom 19-inch aluminum wheels.

“This Bentley has been one of my favorite vehicles and I look forward to seeing it cross the auction block for a great cause,” Michaels said. From raising awareness for Type 1 Diabetes, which he has lived with his entire life, to supporting military families as the son of a veteran, Michaels puts as much passion into his charitable outreach as he does his music, garnering him the title of “Humanitarian of the Year” two years in a row. In line with his charitable endeavors, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this vehicle will go to the Bret Michaels Life Rocks Foundation. This foundation is a donor-advised fund that benefits a myriad of charitable causes from childhood cancer, to diabetes, to veterans’ organizations and many more. In addition to this, the winning bidder will also receive a one-of-a-kind “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” guitar personally signed by Michaels.

“A good drive is great for the soul,” said Michaels – and this Bentley is sure to deliver its new owner the ultimate in “Grand Touring” and undoubtedly a rocking good time.
